4. Quotations and Orders

4.1 Requesting a Quote

Quote requests submitted through our website or via email, WhatsApp, or phone are subject to availability and confirmation by our sales team. Receipt of a quote request does not guarantee supply or confirm a price.

4.2 Validity of Quotations

All formal quotations issued by Goodlife Medical Technology are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated in the quotation document. After this period, prices and availability are subject to change.

4.3 Order Confirmation

An order is only confirmed once the customer has accepted the formal quotation in writing and any required deposit or full payment has been received by Goodlife Medical Technology.

4.4 Cancellations

Once an order has been confirmed and processed, cancellations may not be accepted, particularly for products that have been specially ordered or imported. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to sales@goodlifemed.co.za and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

5. Pricing

All prices quoted are in South African Rand (ZAR) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Goodlife Medical Technology reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time. Pricing on formal quotations is fixed for the validity period stated on the quotation.

6. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in the formal quotation or invoice issued to the customer. Standard terms may include:

EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) — banking details will be provided on the invoice
Upfront payment for new customers or custom/imported orders
30-day account terms may be available for approved institutional clients subject to a credit application

Goodlife Medical Technology reserves the right to withhold delivery of goods until payment has been received and confirmed.

7. Delivery and Shipping

7.1 Delivery Areas

Goodlife Medical Technology delivers products across South Africa. Delivery to remote or outlying areas may be subject to additional charges and extended lead times.

7.2 Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times will be provided at the time of quotation. Timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays caused by suppliers, courier services, customs clearance, or circumstances beyond our control do not constitute a breach of contract.

7.3 Delivery Charges

Delivery charges, if applicable, will be specified in the quotation or invoice. The customer is responsible for all delivery costs unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7.4 Risk of Loss

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery to the specified delivery address or upon collection by the customer or their nominated representative.

8. Returns and Exchanges

8.1 Damaged or Incorrect Goods

If goods arrive damaged or are incorrect, the customer must notify Goodlife Medical Technology in writing within 5 business days of receipt. Goods must be returned in their original, unopened packaging where applicable. We will arrange a replacement or credit at our discretion.

8.2 Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

Sterile products that have been opened or used
Products specially ordered or imported on request
Perishable or temperature-sensitive items
Products that have been altered, damaged, or misused after delivery

8.3 Return Process

All returns must be pre-authorised by Goodlife Medical Technology. Unauthorised returns will not be accepted. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.

9. Warranties

Goodlife Medical Technology supplies products from reputable manufacturers. Manufacturer warranties, where applicable, will be passed on to the customer. Goodlife Medical Technology does not provide any additional warranty beyond what is offered by the original manufacturer.

We do not warrant that products will be fit for any specific purpose other than the intended medical use described in the product specifications.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law:

Goodlife Medical Technology shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products or services.
Our total liability in any matter arising from these Terms and Conditions shall not exceed the value of the specific order in question.
